Cheryl Hines Faces the New Chapter of Becoming a Grandma
Actress Cheryl Hines, known for her incredible work on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," is stepping into a brand-new role—grandma. But she’s not entirely ready to embrace the title just yet. Her stepson, Bobby Kennedy III, and his wife, Amaryllis Fox, are expecting their first baby girl in January. Cheryl, 53, laughed as she told Closer Weekly that she’s unsure about being called Grandma. “I don’t know that I want to be called Grandma,” Cheryl admitted. “It’s a really fun time, but I have to come up with a different name. Maybe CeCe. Luckily, I still have a couple of months to figure it out!”
Cheryl, who is also a spokesperson for the Painfully Awkward Conversations Campaign (which addresses issues like painful sex and menopause), is fully prepared to welcome the joys this baby will bring to her life and her husband, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 64. This new chapter in her life is exciting, and she can't wait to be part of her grandchild's life without the stress of being the disciplinarian.

Looking Forward to Babysitting and Spoiling the Grandbaby
Cheryl is looking forward to the opportunity to be the fun grandma. “I have a feeling we’re going to have long weekends of babysitting,” she gushed. Cheryl, whose daughter Catherine is 14, is ready to let loose and have fun with her grandchild. “And I’m looking forward to not having to be the parent and teach lessons like ‘Tell the truth.’ Instead, I can say ‘Lie! Have fun!’ I can’t wait,” Cheryl shared with excitement.
Exciting Projects on the Horizon
Cheryl isn't just preparing for her role as a grandma. The actress is also thrilled about directing the upcoming feature film Revenge Wedding and returning to her role as Larry David’s ex-wife on Curb Your Enthusiasm. “We’re about to start shooting our 10th season, but really we’ve all been together for 17 years or something,” Cheryl shared about her on-screen family. “Robert watches Curb too much,” she revealed with a laugh. “He binge-watches when I’m not around!”

A Marriage That Thrives on Mutual Respect
Cheryl and Robert have been married since 2014, and she credits their successful union to their thriving careers. “It’s nice because we both understand— I hate to use the word fame, but just being a recognizable person,” Cheryl explained. “If one person is recognizable and the other isn’t, it can be a tough balance, but it’s nice that we’re recognized for different things.”
