Carrie Underwood's Resilience Through Health Challenges
Country music icon Carrie Underwood has faced her fair share of hurdles recently. Last year, she suffered a fall outside her Nashville home, leaving her with multiple injuries, including a broken wrist and facial abrasions. If that wasn't enough, just weeks ago, she revealed that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, endured three devastating miscarriages over the past two years. These trials could easily overwhelm anyone, but Carrie isn't letting them define her. Instead, she's moving forward with strength and hope. In fact, she's embracing life with open arms and a positive outlook.
At 35, Carrie and her husband Mike, 38, celebrated an exciting milestone in August: they're expanding their family by welcoming a sibling for their three-year-old son, Isaiah! With a due date set for early 2019, Carrie has been juggling her demanding career and pregnancy. Despite the importance of rest during this time, she's been traveling and making public appearances. This has reportedly caused concern, especially for Mike, who feels she needs to slow down. “Everyone is gently urging her to cut back on travel and appearances, and Mike is particularly vocal,” a close friend of the “Cry Pretty” singer shared with OK! magazine, currently available on newsstands. “He’s pleading with her to return to Nashville and take it easy.”

Mike Fisher's Concerns Amid Carrie's Busy Schedule
As a former NHL player, Mike Fisher knows what it means to push oneself to the limit. However, his worry escalated when Carrie had to cancel two shows in mid-September after being hospitalized with a viral infection. “Carrie has an incredible drive to succeed, but there’s real concern that she could harm herself and the baby if she continues at this pace,” a source revealed to OK!. “She needs to step back, rest, and focus on her health.”

Announcing the Arrival of Baby Number Two
Carrie shared the joyful news of her second pregnancy through an Instagram video, where she also announced her upcoming “Cry Pretty Tour.” With a cheerful expression, she explained, “You might be wondering or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?’ Well… yay!” She then revealed pink balloons spelling out “BABY” above her head. “Mike, Isaiah, and I are absolutely thrilled and excited to be adding another little fish to our pond.”

Right now, Carrie and Mike are savoring every moment of this pregnancy. “This has been an absolute dream come true, with the new album, the baby news, and everything else,” Carrie expressed. “We’re so excited and grateful that you all can share in this journey with us. Love you guys! We’ll see you on the road in 2019.”
Keeping the Baby's Gender a Secret
Curious fans are eager to know whether Carrie is expecting a boy or a girl, but for now, the couple is keeping it under wraps. During a Sept. 19 interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Carrie admitted that she’s staying tight-lipped about the baby’s gender. Looks like we’ll just have to let Carrie and Mike enjoy these final months of her pregnancy and patiently wait until they're ready to share the news with their fans!
