Since announcing his exciting news of expecting a child via surrogate back in December 2018, Andy has been fully embracing the journey of new fatherhood. In a recent interview, the proud dad opened up about what it’s like to become a first-time father and how surrogacy has transformed his life.
“I worked with an incredible surrogate. She was in California. Surrogacy is illegal in so many states, including New York, and I just don’t get it. It’s a completely voluntary process, after all,” Andy shared with People shortly after baby Ben’s birth. “My surrogate saw it as giving me the ultimate gift. She gave me life. So I’ll be forever grateful to her.” It’s truly heartwarming to see Andy’s appreciation for the woman who helped bring his son into this world. We couldn’t be happier for him!
