Still Searching for Love: Kathie Lee Keeps Her Heart Open

Three years have passed since the loss of her beloved husband, Frank Gifford, and Kathie Lee Gifford is ready to embrace what the future holds. In a candid conversation with Us Weekly, Kathie Lee revealed that she hasn’t closed the door on finding love again. Instead, she’s maintaining an open heart, trusting that if God has someone special in store for her, it will happen naturally.

“I’m open to love, but I truly believe you don’t go out searching for it. Love finds you,” Kathie Lee shared warmly. “As a woman of faith, I trust that if it’s God’s plan, then the right person will come along. Maybe I’ve already crossed paths with that someone and just haven’t realized it yet. We’ll just have to wait and see.”

Grieving and Growing: Kathie Lee's Journey Since Frank's Passing

Back in 2015, Frank Gifford passed away at the age of 84 due to natural causes. At the time, Kathie Lee, now 65, was deeply affected by his loss. But over the years, she’s learned to heal and is now in a place where she feels ready to move forward. “The early days were tough, no question about it,” she admitted. “But I’ve allowed myself to feel okay with where I am now. It’s part of the process, and I’m embracing it.”

Kathie Lee’s cohost, Hoda Kotb, has a pretty good idea of what she’s looking for in a potential partner. “The one thing she insists on is that the guy has all his own teeth,” Hoda joked lightheartedly. “It’s a must-have for her!” With Kathie Lee planning to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee, after her departure from the Today show in April, who knows—she might just meet her dream guy there. For now, though, her focus is on her exciting career prospects.

Exciting Projects on the Horizon for Kathie Lee

While love is on the radar, Kathie Lee is also pumped about her upcoming projects. “I’ve got some incredible film ventures coming up. I’ll be spending a significant amount of time in Israel shooting,” she revealed on Today. “I’m stepping into directing for the first time, working on an 11-minute film based on a song I co-wrote with Nicole Seamullen called ‘The God Who Sees.’ We’re also set to produce four more Whiskey and Wine movies, and there are a few others in the works that I can’t disclose just yet. It feels like all the roadblocks are finally clearing, and the timing couldn’t be better. I’m genuinely thrilled about what’s ahead!”
