I am heartbroken to inform you that my friend Kim Goodwin passed away on Sunday afternoon. Kim started out as our hair and makeup guru and eventually became like family to us. I was able to spend some time with Kim last Wednesday. Even though he was quite ill and bedridden, we laughed and joked about all of the great memories we’ve shared over the years. Kim was unbelievably talented. Not only did he do our hair and makeup, he prepared all of our publicity shots —even the building wraps on the Flamingo. "Kim was unbelievably gifted—not only did he handle our hair and makeup, but he also prepared all of our publicity shots, including the massive building wraps on the Flamingo. He was a true artist and a beloved member of our team," Donny recalled. "The entire cast and crew will deeply miss him. Godspeed, my dear friend Kim. Rest in peace, and until we meet again."

Donny’s fans were quick to respond with heartfelt messages of condolence. "Your words are filled with love and heartbreak. Marie Osmond Honors Her Lifelong Friend

She revealed that Kimmy was first hospitalized in late January, followed by a quintuple bypass surgery after suffering a massive heart attack in February. Over the weekend, she shared a poignant tribute on Instagram. "I waited until now to post this, but today I said goodbye to my best friend Kimmy," Marie wrote. "He’s now in a better place, and though my heart is shattered and this hole in my heart may never be filled, I’m grateful that he left this life knowing how much he was loved."
