The Curtain Falls on Donny & Marie
On November 16, the legendary sibling duo Donny Osmond and Marie Osmond will take their final bows for their iconic show, Donny & Marie. After more than a decade of dazzling audiences in Las Vegas, they've decided to bring their residency to an end. But don't worry, folks, because no matter what, the bond between these two superstars remains unbreakable. As Donny, 61, exclusively told Closer Weekly, “Who knows—maybe sometime in the future we’ll get together again to sing ‘A Little Bit Country, A Little Bit Rock ‘n’ Roll.’”
Donny went on to emphasize the unique connection between him and his sister. “There’s a bond here that will never be broken,” he said, reminding fans that even as they go their separate ways, the sibling duo will always have that special chemistry that made their show so unforgettable.
What's Next for the Osmond Siblings?
With the curtain closing on Donny & Marie this fall, both Donny and Marie have exciting plans lined up. These two, who once had a popular variety series of the same name from 1976 to 1979, are ready to embark on new adventures. Marie, 59, shared her excitement about spending quality time with her family, including her husband, whom she considers the love of her life. “I have beautiful children and grandchildren, and I am so excited to be with my husband because we lost 25 years together,” she said.

Marie, who has eight children and four grandchildren, was previously married to Stephen Craig from 1982 to 1985. They remarried in 2011 after she split from her second husband, Brian Blosil. Alongside some much-deserved downtime, the “Paper Roses” singer is eager to embark on a solo tour in Europe and even perform in an opera. It's clear that Marie isn’t slowing down anytime soon.

Donny's Plans for the Future
Donny, who has five children and 10 grandchildren, also plans to focus on family life with his wife of 40 years, Debbie Osmond. Alongside cherishing moments with his loved ones, Donny is also working on new music projects. And guess what? He and Debbie are set to launch a line of home furnishings called Donny Osmond Home. “There are so many exciting things in the pipeline right now,” Donny said, beaming with enthusiasm.

Las Vegas Success Story
So, what brought this sibling duo newfound success with their Las Vegas show? They credit Dancing With the Stars for introducing them to a new multigenerational audience. Marie came in third place during the fifth season of the ABC reality competition series, while Donny won the ninth season. “We started out as a six-week contract, and here we are 11 years later,” Donny said, reflecting on their journey since their last variety show. However, they both agree that it’s time to pursue individual projects. “She’s got her career, I’ve got my career,” Donny noted.
